It's about time, we bring the discussion to the light.Today modern nondestructive tests are used in manu-facturing, fabrication and in-service inspections to ensure product integrity and reliability, to control manufacturing processes, lower production costs and to maintain a uniform quality level. During con-struction, NDT is used to ensure the quality of materials and joining processes during the fabrication and erection phases, and in-service NDT inspections are used to ensure that the products in use contin-ue to have the integrity necessary to ensure their usefulness and the safety of the public. In contrast to NDT, other tests are destructive in nature and are therefore done on a limited number of samples (lot sampling), rather than on the materials, components or assemblies actually being put into service. On the other hand, the engineering and construction industry has made a significant recovery from the 2020 recession, but it has also experienced multiple headwinds that are expected to persist. How-ever, it is imperative to make note of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction domain, that includes its management, financing etc. The introduction of "Finance" in 1994 into Iran's legal system as a source of financing petroleum projects is an important change in Iran's petroleum sector since "Buyback" was the common contrac-tual framework in Iran until that time. This new concept led to the introduction of various contractual arrangements such as Engineer-ing, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Engineering Procurement Construction and Financing (EPCF) and (EPC & F), and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM). In this issue of the SiliconIndia magazine, a section is dedicated to the container logistics for which the companies are helping in transportation mer-chandise with excellent services and solutions. Nevertheless, inside, we have put forth a list of NDTS, EPCM and Container Logistics service providers who can catapult your organization's productivity.Emmanuel Christi DasEditoreditor@siliconindia.com
