The change has brought in new forms of learning through online learning mediums & platforms and advanced Ed-Tech solutions. The many great technology trends positively lead-ing the education sector today include mobile learning and digital con-tent platforms, AI-powered learning environments, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), gamification of learning, automated as-sessments, adaptive learning, and mobile learning. The advancements brought in by technology and the rise of e-Learning platforms have opened new horizons for learning. Collectively, where different modes of education such as online education, digital classrooms, and skill de-velopment programs have revolutionized knowledge dissemination, the developments are ushering all into a new era of education further. With major shifts in the education system drawn over since the pre- and post-British rule in the country, India boasts of the world's largest network of higher learning institutions, with significant growth potential now. The education sector's total value is estimated at over $117 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $225 billion by 2025, whereas specifically the ed-tech market is expected to reach approxi-mately $30 billion by 2031. Especially, the `New National Education Policy (NEP)', adopted by the Modi government and approved by the Union Cabinet in the current year is expected to bring a flurry of re-forms, ranging from school curriculum reductions to the abolition of MPhil programs. With reforms, the NEP aspires to develop an education system that directly contributes to the country's transformation by making high-quality education available to all citizens and turning India into a glob-al knowledge ball. There have been huge transformations across the higher education realm too. However, they are the teaching faculty and many other acknowledgeable leaders who need to be applauded for taking the lead in promoting India's education sector's growth, gain-ing global prominence today.
