With spiritual consideration being mandate, any religious, spiritual considerations like Vastu etc should be seen before starting the design.Further considering the lifespan of the project, the design concept has to be keeping in view of the lifespan of the project. For instance if it is a monument then the design concept should be ever lasting, and if it is a space which has to be renovated as per the changing design/fashion trends, then it should be addressed accordingly.Referring to the elevated designs, designing an exterior building façade is equally mandate as that of landscape designing. The view from the building, and the view to the voiding is the main guiding factor for the façade design. If one has a good and desirable view from a particular location then fenestrations and decks have to be planned accordingly. Also if the building is at a strategic location, which can be seen from the key positions and the shape forms, height etc. can be decided accordingly.Coordinating with the internal layout is the key to beautify the building externally. The exterior design of a building façade cannot be designed in isolation from the internal layout of the building. The functions, structural systems, economic viabilities have to work hand in hand for both, interior as well as exterior designs. Also, it is very important to portray the desired image of the building, through its visual external philosophy. Last but not the least, no project is appreciated if it is not time bound and not delivered on the required time.
