siliconindia | | October 20186When you take the road less travelled, you never know what awaits you, as the story tellers and torchbearers are few to guide you. And when you cross the road to reach your destination, nothing is as satisfying as that moment. Recently, India was crowned for having the highest number of female pilots in the world (around 12 percent), which is above twice the global average of fi ve percent. Coming a long way from being air hostess to running the show from the front, whether it is on-ground or in the air, women are championing the industry and making a mark for themselves. Kudos to those girls who broke the stereotype to fl y high in the sky and the institutes that have been working on the background to help give wings to their dreams. But the modern day learners are much different from the earlier ones, as they are more tech-savvy, and expect immediate gratifi cation along with demanding knowledge while being collaborative and team-oriented. As we move towards the future, aviation training will use more of data analytics and AI to impart aviation training that is more effective and linked to a learner's physiological state, like lack of suffi cient sleep, if impared by substances or medicines, stress level and others. This will also help in offering customized learning provision to students. Though the training institutes are yet to adapt to these technological trends, it is time they move past and catch-up with these to impart the best of the training. However, there are institutes who provide the best of the training, whether pilot, cabin crew or on-ground, at the behest of the future industry needs, thus fi lling the gap with cutting-edge courses. Featuring some of them in our current issue of `10 Most Promising Air Hostess Training Institutes - 2018', we bring to you their unmatched training that is giving wings to the aspiring professionals. We also bring to you `10 Most Promising Artifi cial Intelligence Training Institutes - 2018', which features such institutes that are bridging the gap between the industry need and available skill gap.
