About the company

At the time when Charles Babbage invented the first generation of computers, computers were just designed to solve some calculation problems. Later, as our society’s needs increased, new features were added in computers and today, numerous upgraded versions of both software and hardware are launched year-on-year. This upgradation is not just limited to machines; humans are also accountable to improve their skill set according to the changing environments around them. In this era of Industry 4.0, where automation and specialized skill set are dominating the picture, SMEC Automation Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001:2008 global solution provider and the Authorized System Integrator of Schneider Electric, France, was quick enough to sense the importance of trainings on specialized skills for their employees. The company knew that out-dated skills can affect the quality of the work and SMEC was never ready to take chance in client satisfaction. As a solution to it, SMEC Automation spread out a new division, SMEClabs which was an exclusive Research, Development and Training Wing of SMEC Automation Pvt. Ltd.

In early 2000, SMEClabs started to carry out research on existing prototypes and tried to develop much more advanced technologies, and at the same time the institute also offered training to the Engineers of SMEC Automation in the latest advancements so that they can provide better service and solution.
