What Next?

Stoke continues to strengthen and deepen its LTE security offerings as the wave of LTE deployments increases worldwide.
- 2014 will see the deployment of Stoke's XGLC20 packet processing card, which supercharges the Stoke Security eXchange with an unprecedented 40 Gbps of throughput. This is an important advance for LTE operators, for whom the ability to adapt to traffic surges, deliver a high quality multimedia experience, aggregate multiple radio types and secure IP-based communications are among the chief priorities as they transition to 4G/LTE. With mobile broadband traffic expected to grow by over 3000% over the next five years, there is intense pressure on traditional network infrastructure elements to secure and intelligently handle exponentially increasing call and data volumes.
- There is mounting interest in the future of virtualized, software-only products and, while current customer deployments are focused on Stoke's hardware platform, the company is well positioned to provide virtualized offerings in the future. From the outset, Stoke made a deliberate architectural choice to use a Linux-based, distributed network functions approach. This foresight ensures that it is just a short step to introduce virtualized or network 'functions virtualization (NFV)' offerings when the timing is appropriate.

DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS:
Stoke has a truly differentiated technology that was designed for today
and the future, an excellent reputation for customer service, and a growing reputation as a great company to work with. We allow mobile operators to ensure service uptime, and protect users and their devices against network outages, small cell break-ins, malicious cyber-attacks or exposure to data theft. We help operators roll out exciting new technologies including VoLTE without compromising speed and quality of service. The mobile telecommunications world needs products that address the need for stronger security combined with the ability to accommodate growth and handle new services, without introducing latency or impairing performance. Stoke is the only company that serves all these needs in a single technology platform.
REVENUE MODEL:
Stoke's go-to-market model is based on partnerships with renowned service providers including Dimension Data, Italtel, Macnica Networks, Net One Systems, and Samsung. Stoke derives revenue from product sales, from software subscriptions, and from expert services.
