R. Ramanujam
Faculty, The Institute of Mathematical Sciences

R. Ramanjuam is currently a faculty at The Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He completed his BE (hons) in electrical and electronics engineering from BITS, Pilani and PhD in mathematical foundations of computer science from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. Later he took on post-doctoral research at the University Of New York (city).

Ramanujam has a keen research interest in mathematical logic and theory of computation and their applications to theory of distributed systems and security.

He has also held adjunct positions with universities in Germany and the U.S. 

Ramanujam has also presented several research papers. Some of his works are include

  • A local presentation of synchronizing systems, in Structures in Concurrency Theory 
  • Local knowledge assertions in a changing world
  • Trace consistency and inevitability
  • A presentation of regular languages in the Assumption - Commitment framework
