Risks involved in business and way of addressing
Data / Code Security : Functioning of ERP : tested in 100
schools beta phase operations, improvements. Monetary: In a traditional model
whereby the Company sells the ERP at a price runs a major risk of receiving the
payment from the school and the trusties running it. In our proposal, we have eliminated
this and instead shifted the source of revenue from advertisements and
e-commerce from “all@me” (similar to
facebook’s revenue model )
Most critical decision
Focus on Product development of ERP and “all@me” and not
to engage the team in other activities (viz. website development, outsourcing
the resources for short term) which could have otherwise bridged the finance
gap for sustaining the company.

from schools to shift from manual to web based application

The events which led to the current development were all
necessary and rationale. I do not foresee any better and different way to reach
at this stage.

Signing up a new customer is always been a difficult task for the start-ups. We strategically partnered with one of the renowned Educational Institute named City International Schools. City International is the group of 10 schools having affiliation with various educational boards like CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and SSE. The Chairman of City International Schools, Mr. Nandan Dixit is on the board of directors of Tansar Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Till now we haven’t really made any efforts for fund raising as our product was in the testing stage. But now as the product is completely ready and in the Go-To-Market stage, we are exploring the funding options primarily for escalating the IT infrastructure, marketing & promotional activities.
I had an opportunity to witness and experience an
exciting journey in bringing an idea to reality, starting from a humble sole
proprietorship to incorporating a private limited Company with a strong team of
25 Team members. During this process, was engaged in Recruiting, concept
designing, development, financing, marketing, branding, interfacing with
clients, testing the product to name a few. However the deliverables were
always defined.
By keeping the focus clear, it is easier to connect the
dots.
Microsoft : a software giant worldwide has developed
products like windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite which are
installed on the majority of personal computers around the world. I personally
admire the way in which this company and its founder who build it along with
the right friends at the right time in the history of personal computing to
turn his thirst for knowledge into a viable enterprise in an industry that was
still in its infancy.
Technical knowledge alone is not sufficient, applied
