Brief about company, offerings and foundation of the company

We always preferred bad company throughout our childhood! This time around we preferred the other one. Our good company's name is foofys. Yes! its the one with the big O. Five: never did I know five people could change the world. Yes! five crazy maniacs decided to encapsulate the world and the internet with the next generation Social Media tool. Thus, formed the good company foofys in the Silicon valley of India: Bangalore. Offerings: foofys is a mobile app which brings relevance to your world. fooys allows people or businesses to interact with their friends or clients and share a common interest among each other in a club. foofys allows every user to create, join and engage in clubs. After reaching 2012, when the world ends they say, we thought we should create another world: Hence, began the creation of the blueprint of this new world in five minds back here in the silicon city : Bangalore. Yes! The new world is named foofys. We bet this one would never end.

Risks involved in business and way of addressing

RISKS:Losing the architects behind this great work.Immediate acceptance in the market. Capital required for marketing. Way of addressing-Market research and  forecasting is what foofys has believed in which instills confidence in the five of us.

Most critical decision

Being from the non-technical background hiring developers was quite a task.Our strategy to hire them just revolved solely on their attitude and smartness quotient.Lucky or not, it worked!

Some of the difficulties faced while building product/ solution

The development team had to learn technologies on their own without formal training.


Three big lessons/ mistakes encountered while building company
Don't trust too soon. Don't assume. Always keep testing the product in various ways.
Different actions if I rebuild my company from scratch all over again

I would not hold back from marketing the most viable product. I will invest a lot more in marketing.

Motivation and Drives factor

The possibility of changing the world. The possibility of technology shaping a better future for a change. The possibility of India being the factory for innovation.The possibility of creating jobs for my country and our world.

Unique about my way of motivating troops

Lead by example is the right way. Giving a task to our team which they cannot accomplish is the wrong way. It would only dampen their spirits.

Pitched and networked. Everyone in the world is not your friend. They are clients so treat them like one and give them what they want.

Received a lot of traction from many investors but we would like to go ahead with it at a later stage.
