The Akkineni Nageswara Rao College is the result of the munificence and zeal for higher education of the people of Gudivada taluk. The college has successfully completed 50 years in the service of education and has entered the Golden Jubilee Year. During the first 50 years of its existence, it produced thousands of graduates and postgraduates, who are well settled in several walks of life, serving nationally and internationally. The college started offering a three years Master of Computer Application programme from the year 1998-99 with an annual intake of 60 students.
