CMT, an autonomous Corporate Business School approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, provides training for maintaining better academic performance and placement assistance to the students interested in pursuing a full time campus based PGDM program. This program goes beyond giving a Management Qualification. It prepares management aspirants for a high flying career as a top corporate leader equipped with the wherewithal to occupy the very top strata of the corporate world. The PGDM Program

The PGDM Program of the CMT prepares the students with the right attitude, skills, knowledge and strategic perspectives essential to the leadership of business anywhere in the world. The Program is designed to provide both a portfolio of strong functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt and integrate those skills in different management settings. Students in the CMT will learn how to perform in the business world. Armed with the practical knowledge, CMT students also enhance their ability to reason, problem solving, and sort through ethical challenges. Throughout their business school career they will have many opportunities to meet alumni of the Alwardas Group in a variety of business fields so that they can explore different career options.
One of the things that will make the CMT Corporate School of Business unique is its emphasis on the trivium liberal arts, especially communication skills. All students are required to take a core of liberal arts courses to provide a broad based education on which to build. Students then take a core of business courses in each of the major areas so that there is a broad knowledge of the business field before students begin to pursue their major area of study. Students may pursue a double major or a major and minor to fine tune their programs to suit their career needs.

Program
Two years, full time campus based Post Graduate Diploma in Management – PGDM.
    
Enrollment
Students can register for the fulltime campus based PGDM Program of CMT, an autonomous management institution, approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.

Eligibility
•    Graduation from any discipline with 50% and above aggregate marks
•    Final year degree students awaiting for results
•    Students in their final year bachelor’s degree program are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/viva assignments before July 01, 2010.

Duration:
•    Two years of four semesters.
•    First and third Semesters between July and December.
•    Second and Fourth semesters between January and April
•    Two months of Internship program during the summer after second semester.

Admission Modalities and Procedure

Admission Criteria

• The selection of applicants is made through Admission Test and Personal Interview.
• CMT’s  Admission Test (Admission Test for CMT - ATCMT)
  

Students seeking admission are required to submit the completed application form at CMT Campus. They are required to appear for ATCMT followed by an interview. ATCMT is based on GMAT pattern with multiple choice questions and tests the applicant’s abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary and analytical reasoning. ATCMT will be conducted at the CMT Campus.

Exemption from Admission Test: Those applicants who have valid CAT/MAT scores are exempted from Admission Test. They can appear for personal interview directly.


Personal Interview    
The applicants shortlisted in ATCMT or/ and exempted from admission test will have to go through personal interviews at the campus for the admission. The interview panel will focus on testing the attitude, aptitude and aspiration of the candidates.

Original certificates along with the admission test result card should be produced for verification at the time of interview along with one photocopy. The original certificates will be returned after verification. The admission decision will be communicated after the interview process.
    
Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation from any discipline with 50% and above aggregate marks.
• Final year degree students awaiting results.

For the purpose of determining eligibility based on aggregate percentage of marks, the procedure used by the respective university in award of the degree will only be taken into consideration.
 
All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal schooling by July 01, 2010.
    
•    Students in their final year bachelor’s degree program are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/viva assignments before July 01, 2010. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. The admission of applicants will, however, remain provisional until they produce mark sheets and a degree certificate establishing their eligibility.
