nSecure launches Gateway-based anti-spam solution

BANGALORE: Security solutions provider nSecure Software Pvt. Ltd on Friday launched a gateway-based anti-spam solution that will help block email-based spam, The solution provided message-filtering features based on the content, attachment types, sender and header information amongst others, the Bangalore -based company said in a statement. It also has an advanced content filtering capability based on Bayesian filter. The gateway solution can run independently on server without the need for any third party software and can be centrally monitored and controlled fron the nPatrol Management Server. "As the spam epidemic continues, companies are concerned and are trying to stop unwanted e-mail from reaching corporate networks and consumer in-boxes. With email communication quickly becoming filled with more hazardous, offensive, and annoying content, anti-spam software is a necessary component of enterprise security and privacy protection", company Director Vipul Sheth said.
