i-flex to focus on BRIC

BANGALORE: After having established its mark in the banking industry globally, i-flex Solutions Ltd, has identified the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) geographies as major thrust areas.
The company has also firmed up plans to double the head count at its Mumbai and Pune centers to 5,000 from the present 2,500 within the next one and half years.
Deepak Ghasias, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of i-flex Solutions said that while Markets in Europe, Japan and Korea would continue to pay rich dividends, Brazil, Russia, India and China are the regions where the company would focus in the months ahead.
Ghasias said i-flex already has branch in Russia, and a representative office in China. With a deal already in struck in Brazil, the company was open to the idea of opening a representative office there with increase in business volumes.
