eSys launches Intel processed mainstream PCs

New Delhi: In order to ensure consistent performance and low power consumption for everyday computing needs, Bangalore based IT distribution form eSys Information Technologies have launched Mainstream desktop PCs based on Intel's E5200 dual core processor. Packed with 500GB of storage, Microsoft Vista Starter Pack and a cabinet powered by a robust 300W power supply, the desktop is priced at 19990. Vakul Bhatnagar, COO, Branded Business Group, eSys Technologies, India, said, "eSys is amongst the first few companies to introduce Intel E5200 Dual Core Processor based desktops in India as the end-users expect much more from their PCs than just being a productivity tool. Be it music, games or videos, they want the processor to be a consistent performer across a myriad range of applications." The desktop has a DVD-Writer and a 32-in-1 card reader which can read almost every kind of multimedia cards. It also has 1GB of memory which can be expanded to 4GB via 2 DIMM Slots. The Intel E5200 Dual Core Processor is the first in the family of Dual Core CPUs with 2MB L2 cache size and with a clock speed of 2.5GHz at 800MHz of FSB speed. It also features Intel G31 Chipset with an on-board shared VGA memory of up to 256MB and Intel GMA3100 graphics which renders most of the 2-D applications.
