eInfochips launches Impetus training programme
Bangalore: eInfochips, an IT design services company announced the launch of "Impetus", an IT industry-academia training programme in Gujarat. Under the programme four colleges across the state will be the nodal centres for training 250 students from 20 engineering colleges. Impetus aims to train engineering students according to the current industry requirements and build a sustainable partnership with engineering institutions in Gujarat. The company flagged off the two week initiative at VGEC, Chandkheda and SVIT Vasad. The programme will also take place at DDIT Nadiad, SVNIT Surat and VGEC, Chandkheda for Ganpat University students. "Impetus is a significant initiative with the focus to enhance the IT skills in the engineering education system and expose them to emerging technologies. This initiative is following our program 'Train the Trainer' wherein the faculties from engineering colleges were trained," said Pratul Shroff, CEO, eInfochips. Heading the initiative will be Prof. H.B. Dave who is an MTech from IIT Kharagpur, along with other full time trainers and engineers. As the chief trainer at eInfochips he says, "The program will be divided into two phases for the students of fourth and sixth semesters respectively. It will be an optimal mix of major theoretical and practical aspects right from fundamentals to advance level of programming languages and a walkthrough assorted set of industry oriented topics. The program also addresses the corporate ethics/culture and communication skills." eInfochips invests three percent of its revenue annually in technical and non-technical training.
