HCC bags two contracts worth 16.88 Billion

New Delhi: HCC, a leading infrastructure construction and development company, has been awarded two contracts by the Andhra Pradesh government totalling 16.88 billion. The first order is a contract for investigation, design and execution of the Lift Irrigation Scheme for drawal of water from Mid-Manar to the new reservoir at Ananthagiri village in Karimnagar district. This contract, valued at 19.28 billion, will be executed by a joint venture of HCC, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd (MEIL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL). HCC’s share in the total value of the contract is 51 percent or 9.83 billion. The second order is for construction of the J. Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme to be executed by HCC, SEW Infrastructure Ltd (SEW), MEIL and Andritz AG (AAG). The order is valued at 14.1 billion and HCC's share is 50 percent or 7.05 billion.
