Bayer India to sell non-cropscience business

NEW DELHI: Bayer India Ltd is seeking its shareholders' approval through postal ballot to dispose of its healthcare, polymers, chemicals and other non-cropscience businesses. The ventures would be sold off to its newly-incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary from November 1, 2003. The last date for submission of postal ballot is October 15, 2003. Result of the Postal Ballot will be declared on October 17, 2003.
