Zensar to set up remote hub in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Pune-based Zensar Technologies Ltd, the software solutions provider, has announced its plan to locate a remote hub for its delivery model in Hyderabad to service its Japanese, Chinese and the U.S. customers. It will be company’s first center in South India that will focus on providing extended delivery for operations and will showcase implementation of solution blueprinting approach for software development. Announcing this the company’s Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, Ganesh Natarjan said, “Initially the center will appoint about 35-40 people and later extended to about 400 by the end of 2006.” At present, Zensar has an employee’s strength of about 2,700, including 450 of them in innovative technology solutions, 380 in enterprise solutions, 200 in business process optimization and about 1,500 in application development services. Natarajan said, “The expansion is aimed at a larger footprint and to leverage the locational advantage that Hyderabad offers as an IT destination.” The Hyderabad center will have about 250 professionals in the enterprise solutions, covering both Oracle and SAP, and this would specifically address areas of financial services and retail business verticals.
