Zensar to buy a U.S. based SAP firm for 100 Crore

Hyderabad: Zensar Technologies is all set to acquire a U.S. company in the SAP domain in 12-18 months with the budget of 100 crore. The company is looking at companies to add strengths in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Infrastructure Management. Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Zensar Technologies, said "We are not going to have big ticket acquisitions for now. We might have a couple of small buys in the short term." Zensar is also planning to shift towards cloud based outsourcing. They are expected to grow 25 percent from five percent of the previous year. The company also informed that the average salary hike for the year will be 10 percent with maximum of 22 percent. The company would add 800 employees including 500 freshers and 300 lateral entrants for this year. The number of new recruits would go up to 1200 this year whereas in last year there were 600 recruitments. The company would open a 200-seater facility in Jordan too. Natrajan also mentioned that top 10 customers contributed 69 percent to its turnover, while top 5 contributed 45 percent.
