Yash opens offshore development center in Hyderabad

BANGALORE: YASH Technologies, Inc., an Illinois, USA based software company, announced opening of a new offshore development center in Hyderabad. Speaking on the inauguration of the new center, Kirti Baheti, managing partner said, “We would like to create Yash Technologies as brand name in India. We have plans of investing $10 million in 2 years to build focused competencies in our Hyderabad Center and curve a niche for us as a key provider of solutions for SMEs in India”. The new ODC in Hyderabad will help Yash expand its offshore resources from 100 to 250 and support its global clients in US, Europe, Middle East and domestic markets. The center will have competency centers in ERP, Data warehousing & Business intelligence, Microsoft .net, E-business, Quality services and Product Engineering. Yash opened a dedicated offshore center for a key fortune client in Indore last year, and currently has about 100 people working on J2EE and Microsoft Technologies. Founded in 1996, YASH Technologies is among the 500 fastest growing, private companies in the United States, according to INC magazine for two consecutive years. In 1999, YASH added a new dimension to its existing services with the creation of several software development centers throughout the United States to service the distributed clientele giving them the advantage of proximity. YASH Technologies with 200 software engineers in USA specializes in building vertical solutions leveraging technology partnerships with SAP, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and Interwoven. Yash had done key content management implementations at several large companies and made a mark for itself.
