Xenitis Group bags 1 crore order from Sterlite Foundation

BANGALORE: Kolkata based Xenitis Group of Companies; manufacturers of ‘Aamar PC’ has bagged an 1 crore contract from Sterlite Foundation, Mumbai for the supply of 700 personal computers. This follows the launch of ‘Aamchi PC’ in Maharashtra by Xenitis. Xenitis, a low cost manufacturer of PCs is a known brand in Eastern India and has recently launched its PCs in Maharshtra which will follow a nation wide rollout soon. The company has also entered into an agreement with Unitek Computer Company of China to set up Unitek Xenitis Worldwide to manufacture computer peripherals, home theatres and DVDs. “This alliance validates our premise of serving the best quality at affordable prices and reiterates the growing confidence of customers towards ‘Aamchi PC”, said Mr. Santanu Ghosh, Director Xenitis Group of Companies. He also stressed the company’s plans of making ‘Aamar PC’, the leading national brand of personal computers in no time. Mr. Debabrata Mitra, General Manager, Sterlite Foundation said, “We are happy to have forged an alliance with Xenitis Group of Companies. We have full confidence in their capabilities. They are the leading manufacture of personal computers in Eastern India. We look forward to a long-drawn mutually beneficial tie-up with them.”
