World Bank, Satyam in talks for $10m contract

Mumbai: The World Bank is in talks with Satyam Computer Services to award a $10-million contract for offshore software development and support, reports a news agency quoting a senior bank official.
"We are in final stages of discussions," Mohamed Muhsin, vice-president and chief information officer of the World Bank in Bombay.
"It is a long-term contract -- three-to five years," he said, adding talks were likely to be wrapped up this week, according the news agency.
