Wipro to use NetIQ's Security Solutions

BANGALORE:NetIQ Corp. a provider of systems & security management and web analytics solutions and Wipro Technologies, India’s third largest IT services firm today announced that the latter’s Wipro Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) will incorporate NetIQ Security Manager and NetIQ Vulnerability Manager as part of its Integrated Security Management Service. A division of the ESS practice, Wipro's Integrated Security Management Service provides customers with a robust framework to protect businesses, e-commerce infrastructure and computer networks from unauthorized access. The service is a combination of skilled security specialists, best in class processes and best of breed technology. NetIQ Security Manager and NetIQ Vulnerability Manager will provide Wipro with the ability to monitor and resolve real-time security threats as well as assess, audit and patch systems for their managed clients. The combination of Wipro's security expertise and NetIQ's Security Management solutions can help companies worldwide with the dual challenges of pervasive security threats that must be mitigated and scarce in-house security expertise to do so. In addition to Wipro's use of NetIQ's Security Management solutions for managed security services, Wipro has established a NetIQ Center of Excellence to enable the delivery of Wipro consulting services to support customer requirements with NetIQ technology.
