BANGALORE: India's third-largest software exporter, Wipro Ltd. has formed a joint venture with Motorola Inc. to deliver outsourced telecom services. Wipro Technologies will hold a majority stake in the joint venture company WMNetServ, A.L. Rao, chief operating officer of Wipro Ltd., said. Though he did not give details on the stake size a private business channel said Wipro could own up to 80.1 percent of the joint venture with Motorola holding the rest. Rao said Wipro would set up a dedicated center in Bangalore as part of the joint venture agreement. "We will make progressive investment in the company, commensurate with the equity holding pattern," he said.
