Wind River opens development center in B'lore

BANGALORE: Wind River Systems, a device software optimization provider, has announced its plans to expand its India operations. Moving on this direction, the company has set up a development center in Bangalore to focus on significant new innovations to its product line. Announcing this, Wind River Systems Vice-President, Naren Nachiappan said, “The India development center will be a center of competence for a variety of technologies both in the traditional device software space such as C, C++, RTOS and also in newer technologies like Eclipse and J2EE. We plan to leverage the large pool of experts in these areas available in Bangalore.” As part of the expansion of its India operations, the company appointed Sudheer Hullemane as Manager of the India development center in Bangalore. Prior to Wind River, Sudheer brings his experience from Central Research Labs-Bharat Electronics, IBM Global services and 3M Corporation.
