Princeton: Obama termed it as a 'recruitement bonanza for AlQaeda', and the whole world condemns it but Terry Jones in determined. This Christian minister who vowed to burn copies of the Quran to protest the Sept 11 terrorist, says he still plans to go ahead with the burning. That too despite the Government warning
Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center, Florida which has about 50 members, said he understands the government's concerns but plans to go forward with the burning on Saturday.
The fire department has denied Jones a required burn permit for Saturday, but he says he is going ahead with his event.
Jones started receiving death threat after after the 58-year-old minister proclaimed in July that he would stage " International Burn a Quran Day." Supporters have been mailing copies of the Islamic holy text to his Dove World Outreach Center to be incinerated in a bonfire that evening.
Jones logic as told to AP is "We think it's time to turn the tables, and instead of possibly blaming us for what could happen, we put the blame where it belongs - on the people who would do it," he said. "And maybe instead of addressing us, we should address radical Islam and send a very clear warning that they are not to retaliate in any form."
But can he be justified? World has already witnessed many tragedies which was spurred by extemists due to their extremist thoughts and actions. Such actions by the church will only deteriorate the matters further and could lead to many more calamities in future. We have seen what happened when the Indians fought over Barbari Masjid and Ram Janm Bhoomi. The violence it unleashed continues to live in the lives of the people who experienced the tragedy. Not to forget about the 26/11 attack and the umpteen number of bomb blasts which killed thousands of people.
Moreover, its a known fact that no religion in the world nor any holy book advocate the use of violence as means to any realization. It is high time we think the abusrdities of such actions which will only be used by extremists around the world to inflame public opinion and incite violence. The images which would easily spread throughout the world could be easily used to exploit the religious sentiments of the naive and influentiable.
After all, an eye for an eye will only blind the world.Perhaps Jones needs to go back to his missionary lessons!

of QURAN for Islamic brothers and sisters.
This mission is not only burn the copies but
in turn it attempts burn te feeling and faith
of people, which is really shamed activity. I
request my Islamic friends please create

bat there are many many more americans than
