White iPhone 4 launch expected in Spring 2011

San Francisco: Apple has announced the delay in the release of the white iPhone once more. And this time on, you can expect the device to release in the Spring of 2011. "We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we've decided to delay its release until this Spring," said Trudy Muller, Spokesperson, Apple. This news comes after the App Store update which included the white iPhone 4 hinting an impending launch of the product. The delay in the launch of the white iPhone 4 is not new. Apple has done it several times before. In July, Steve Jobs, CEO, Apple announced that the white iPhone 4 was on track to launch by the end of the month. After that got delayed, the company stated that the device would be up for sale by end of 2010. Apple also added that manufacturing of the white hardware proved "more challenging to manufacture" than the company had originally anticipated and so the delay. Reports stated that the hitches that the company faced in the manufacturing of the device comprised of creating glass with the right shade of white for the handset. However, there has been no specific issue stated by Apple. The iPhone 4 was launched on June 24 this year.
