Bangalore: Today it's really hard to think of a period when there was no facebook, myspace or Google+. Imagine the amount of boredom that existed during the era without the internet. It does scare you guys out there, does't it?
Now, the next question that strikes our mind is how employees waste their time in office, before and after the advent of internet. The employees always had some ways to spend their time in office. Let's get a sneak peak as to how employees fritter away time in pre and post internet era.
1. Real friends vs. Virtual friends
In the pre internet era, employees got enough time to bond with their co - workers which induced a feeling of friendship and acquaintance with each other. However, with the advent of internet, the boom of social networking sites has created a huge space for virtual friends on facebook, Yahoo, Google+. Globally more than 6 hours a day is spent on social networking. India alone has 25 million users on facebook and is the fastest growing nation on facebook with a growth rate of 65.32 percent.
