Webify Solutions sets up development center

BNGALORE: Webify Solutions Inc, a service oriented business applications (SOBA) framework and solutions provider has set up its India development center in Mumbai. Announcing the opening, Webify Solutions Chairman and CEO, Manoj Saxena said, “The Indian center would own complete responsibility for the open source version of Webify’s entire offering besides playing a strategic role in overall product development efforts.” Till now the company has invested about $5 million and has outlined further investment of over $5 million by 2007. Saxena said, “We expect India to play a key role in helping Webify leverage and capture market share and emerge as the only vendor in the SOA space that can provide context driven, vertical-specific and standards based SOBA (service-oriented business applications) solutions”. Beside this, he said that last year the company had launched the Webify University with a mission to provide training around the Webify SOA practice to our staff, system integration partners, and client teams. The Mumbai center will cater product development and customer service with a special unit dedicated to the open source version of Webify’s entire product line, Saxena added.
