Mumbai: Warner Brose Pictures, one of the largest producers of film and television entertainment is all set to enter the Indian Animation film industry by producing an animated picture which will be directed by Jyotin Goel, reported The Economic Times. The film is yet to be titled and further announcement and publicity for the film is expected to happen within 6 month. Warner Brose Picture will also be the global distributer of the film. The director of this film, jyotin Goel who has also been on the executive committees of the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association and the Film Makers Combine, has already directed three Indian feature films and produced five. Blaise Fernandes, country manager, Warner Bros Pictures India, said that it marks our entry into the animation genre in India. However Warner Brose's first attempt in Indian film industry is with a feature film titled 'Chandni Chowk to China' which is being directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. The film is supposed to release this October. While in India the cost to produce an animation film is about $15-25 million, the cost in America is about $100-175 million. This is the reason why a foreign production company like Warner Brose is getting ready to invest in Indian Animated film Industry.
