Virtusa promotes Santanu Paul

WESTBOROUGH: Virtusa Corporation announced the promotion of Santanu Paul as the head of global delivery operations. Paul previously held the position of General Manager of the company's Advanced Technology Center at Hyderabad; he will continue to own that role as an additional responsibility.
Reacting to the annoucement, Kris Canekeratne, Chairman and CEO of Virtusa said "Paul's experience here at Virtusa, coupled with his impressive prior leadership roles, puts him in an excellent position to drive innovation in our growing global delivery operations."
Prior to joining Virtusa in 2003, Paul served as Chief Technology Officer at Openpages, a leader in corporate risk management products. Paul was also co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Viveca, a startup acquired by Openpages in 2001.
Paul has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Rackham pre-doctoral fellowship and the IBM Canada fellowship.
