Vinmar International expands global network in China

HOUSTON: Vinmar International, a petrochemicals and plastics raw materials trading company, has appointed Thomas Kreummer as vice president of the Far East. This new position will be based in Shanghai, China. "This appointment reflects and confirms our recognition of China as a strategic market and our commitment to significantly expand our business in China," said Hemant Goradia, president of Vinmar International. "In addition, we are also committed to developing our sourcing capabilities from and within the Far East region, a task that has been assigned to Thomas." Vinmar also further expanded its global network in Latin America recently by opening a new marketing office in Lima, Peru in March 2003. The focus of the new location is local marketing and sales of plastic raw materials. Vijay Goradia and his brother Hemant Goradia established Vinmar in 1978.
