Vinciti Networks bags BS7799 Certification

BANGALORE: Vinciti Networks Pvt. Ltd., an end to end IT Infrastructure Support Services and Technical Support Services provider, has announced that it has been certified by British Standards Institution (BSI) to BS 7799-2:2002, the Standard on Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Vinciti is amongst the first Technical support companies in India to achieve this certification. BS7799 addresses information security management. It aims to protect an organization’s information from a wide range of threats in order to ensure business continuity, maximize ROI and contain residual risks at acceptable levels. “With BS7799-2: 2002 certification, Vinciti provides additional assurance to customers with respect to information security, data and process confidentiality and risk mitigation. The certification enables our clients to outsource technical support services and remote management services with confidence to Vinciti” said, C. The Phase 1 involves review of documents and Phase 2 focuses on assessing implementation and effectiveness of Information Security Management System with focus on continual improvement. The periodic surveillance visits are carried out to assess the continued implementation, effectiveness and improvement in ISMS.
