Ventures West promotes Pardeep Sangha as VP

TORONTO: Ventures West Management Inc., a private venture capital investment group, has promoted associates Pardeep Sangha as vice president.
Sangha, a six-year-old veteran in the company will focus on investments in the telecommunications, photonics, wireless, semiconductors and IT sectors. Before joining Ventures West, he held various operations and engineering posts at Telecommunications Company Telus Corp.
Working since 1968, Ventures West invests in early stage technology companies. The Vancouver-based firm has eight venture capital funds and more than $700 million under management.
