U.S. to appoint piracy expert in India

WASHINGTON: Faced with rampant piracy, the U.S. has decided to appoint a Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) experts in India.
This initiative by the U.S. Commerce Department's is aimed at protecting the intellectual property rights (IPR) of U.S. businesses abroad where the illegal copying of CDs,DVDs and other forms of piracy massive.
Other initiatives by the U.S. includes setting up of a new small business outreach program to educate U.S. small businesses on how to protect their intellectual property rights, and a global intellectual property academy that will provide training program for foreign government officials on global IPR issues.
