US software cos plan to invest $20m in India

MUMBAI: Two US-based software majors Financial Technologies International (FTI) and TCG Software Services are planning to invest $20 million in India over the next four years. Apparently, FTI is planning to make investments in its recently launched Offshore Total Centre in suburban Andheri from where to plans to offer support to its offshore clients. This centre will be integrated to centres in US and Austria and also be involved in R&D support. As for TCG Software, the company is currently in the process of firming up plans for recruiting 400 people in India by September 2003. Headquartered in the US, TCG Software is a technology and IT firm, with focus on mobile solutions, e-business, telecom and data networking domains.
