US Technology, Safeway in pact

THIRUVANANTHPURAM: California based US technology Resource LLC and retailer safeway Inc. have announced a $27 million five year contract under which the US Technology will develop software for the US company.
US Technology official said the software development would be carried out by the US Technology's offshore development center in Technopark nin the City.
Though the value of the contract is $27 million, an increase in its value is possible, Safeway Inc's David Ching said.
Both the companies have worked together in the past and will continue the association, he said.
