NEW DELHI: A delegation of the U.K. based Venture Capitalists is visiting India this week to identify and assist entrepreneurial talent, across all sectors, keen to set up a business venture here. The venture capitalists would hunt for entrepreneurs across all sectors, Director of Trade and Investment (India) British High Commission Stephen Lillie, said. "India's growing economy is throwing up some remarkable entrepreneurial talent - a talent that the U.K. can benefit from by investing in it," Lillie said. About 60 percent of Indian investment into Europe goes into the U.K. India is now the third largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI) there from Asia. The delegation's visit will coincide with the TiEcon India 2005, a networking forum for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and investment bankers. TiEcon 2005 will focus on inspiring and educating entrepreneurs as well as debating aspects that impact the entrepreneurial environment in the Indian market, the statement said.
