Bangalore: Twitter is all set to join the likes of Twitpic and Yfrog as apparently Twitter is planning to work out its very own photo sharing service, reports Techcrunch. Till date Twitter had been sharing its photos via Twitpic and Yfrog but introduction of its own inbuilt service to post and share photos would definitely give an edge over their competitors. This would help Twitter in avoiding any third party's involvement in their services. The recent acquisition of Tweetdeck by Twitter at an astonishing price of $40 million has already pressurized the third party developers and this will add fuel to the fire even more. The recent move towards OAuth logins has also made developers highly disappointed as they find it unnecessarily complicated. The site is also close to acquiring AdGrok, a platform for bidding on keywords on Google AdWords, for less than $10 million, according to a separate TechCrunch report citing multiple sources.
