Transcend unveils 300X 16GB CF cards

New Delhi: Transcend, a provider of flash memory products, and DRAM module brings out its fastest CompactFlash (CF) card in India. Extreme Speed 300X 16GB emerge amongst 130 contenders to be the world's first memory card to speed through the 50MB/second barrier. This card operates in dual-channel Ultra DMA mode 5, which allows the card to achieve extraordinarily fast read/write speeds of up to 45MB per second on average, making consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording with today's high-performance digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLR) easier. Moreover, Extreme Speed 300X CF cards are built with an advanced ECC (Error Correction Code) that automatically detects and corrects errors during data transfer, thus ensuring hassle free data communication. It comes in with the recognized Transcend’s warranty of three years. The speed tests were conducted by the professional digital photography website, Rob Galbraith Digital Photography Insights for selecting best camera storage media for Canon or Nikon digital SLR cameras. The card is presently available in three ranges, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, priced at 4000, 6000 and 11000, respectively.
