TransAsia's IT park to open next week

KOCHI: A corporate industrial park set up by $34.09 million TransAsia Group is to be inaugurated by the Union Minister for Non-Resident Affairs, Vayalar Ravi. This will be the maiden foray into infrastructure development for IT enabled services by the group, which has experience in international shipping, full liner operations, plantations and IT. The first phase of the project comprises 30,000 sq feet of built up area is ready for occupation. "We hope to provide a plug and extent environment benchmarked global standards through Corporate Park. The park is meant to be a one-stop destination for corporate houses scouting for exclusive business premises," Johnson K. Mathew, Managing Director of the company. The project, when completed will offer around 65,000 sq feet centrally air-conditioned built-up area, with 100 percent power back-up, 24-hour water supply, built under intelligent building management system and fully wired-up for various service providers.
