Bangalore: Everyone loves a good scare now and then. Horror games have become increasingly popular over the past few years as graphics and visuals became more realistic. We turn down the lights, put on our headphones and want the game to make us jump out of our seats. We want to cry out, whimper and scream at what we are putting ourselves through. Here are top 10 Horror games.
1. BioShock
BioShock is a first person shooter video game developed by 2K Boston, designed by Ken Levine and supported by PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Little ammo, no allies, no weapons, dark environment; these all create a situation making you vulnerable, and that is what a horror game plays on. The scare comes from the possibility that something will jump out, shock you, and eat you alive-end of the game.
Like most horror games, as you get further and further, you grow increasingly powerful, diffusing much of the fear and tension, but Bios hock haunts throughout the game.
