Bangalore: He is back and that too with a bang. Salman Khan has always been adored and loved by the audience since his inception in Indian movies. He made his mark felt in Indian cinema as a romantic hero in 'Miane Pyar kiya,' 'Hum apke hain kaun' and 'Pyar kiya toh darna kiya.' However life has not always been a roller coaster ride for Salman Khan, and even he had to go through his own share of downfall. Things were not right for him when he was going through a break up with Ashwarya Rai and was alleged in Chinkara killing. A case for drink and drive was also filed against him. Above that his movies were not doing great. But now things are back to its base and he has captured his lost throne. After the record breaking success of blockbuster Dabang, every producer and director wants Salman Khan to be on their side, and with three consecutive successes in row Salman Khan has definitely become the flavor of the season. As far as his popularity has been concerned, Salman has never been in scarcity of it. He has always been in news, be it for bad or good reasons. At the age of 41, he is one of the most search and loved actor that Indian cinema has ever produced. He still portrays a physic that makes every Indian guy dreams of, his box office credentials looks very strong; he is no doubt the new soaring king of bollywood at present. Salman khan is the hero of the masses as far as his market is concerned and displays a persona of a born star. His consecutive hits like 'Wanted,' 'Dabang' and 'Ready' has placed him far ahead of all the other Khans. The characters played by him in all the movies were solely made for Salman and no other hero could have carried the way Salman had. The dialogues of his movies created hysteria among the masses and people were seen mocking them every now and then. Although Salman Khan is not a very good dancer, his dance steps created euphoria among the youngsters especially among college students. Discos and pubs were seen buzzing around with his songs and dance moves. This dabang star is not only loved in big screen, even the small screen vouched for Salman. His shows like 'Dus ka dum' and 'Big boss' snatched all the TRP's from all other shows and created dabang like magic in the small screen also. For the last show it was rumored that he was paid more than 1 crore per episode. It is not only his movies and shows that make him the star, but also his humanitarian work that puts Salman in a different league from others. His NGO 'Being Human' works for orphan children and his contribution towards it is tremendous. He is reported to have made many unofficial donations for poor children apart from the official ones. He has been making efforts to gather contributions of different kinds to support the lives of these poor children.
