Tessco and Verizon to jointly market wireless products and solutions

New Jersey: Tessco Technologies and Verizon Wireless will jointly market integrated solutions for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. The announcement came as, Tessco incorporated a value-added provider of the product and supply chain solutions needed to design, build, run, maintain and use wireless systems. This new joint marketing agreement between Tessco and Verizon will allow the utility and transportation verticals to leverage Tessco's integrated solutions on the 3G wireless network. With the alignment of sales and marketing initiatives, Tessco's M2M hardware, combined with Verizon's wireless network, will provide customers with a specialized, end-to-end solution, backed by technical expertise and customer support. Specialized teams from both companies will ensure that Tessco's customized M2M solutions perform optimally on the Verizon network - and that customers will realize the value of the integrated solutions. Tessco Chairman, President and CEO, Robert B. Barnhill said, "This is an exciting announcement for Tessco as we initiate this joint program by which we are able to provide our suite of integrated solutions to facilitate an M2M solution that utilizes the Verizon Wireless network." With comprehensive solutions including modems, antennas, cable, primary solar power, back-up power, weatherproof enclosures, lightning protection, among many others, Tessco is capable of supporting Verizon Wireless customers in maximizing efficiencies of advanced remote monitoring while reducing costs associated with purchasing from multiple vendors. The joint program will also allow for efficient and quick deployment of these cellular-based networks.
