BANGALORE: U.S. based Telelogic has opened its second facility housing its growing product development team in Bangalore, in line with its expansion plans. Telelogic India is now the fourth largest in terms of the employee strength in the Telelogic group, its Chief Operating Officer Scott Raskin said. The product development unit here was started in 2004 with a five-member team that has grown to 65 engineers in the last one year, he said. Telelogic has other product development labs based in U.S., Britain and Sweden. Telelogic India, which began with a team of three in 2001, has grown to 150 plus workforce now, with three departments - sales organization, global support organization and product development. Raskin said Telelogic has established a strong customer base in India spanning multiple verticals like telecom, finance and automotive. "India is a strategic market not just in terms of outsourcing but also in terms of the domestic market potential for Telelogic solutions," Telelogic India Managing Director Sidharth Malik said. Telelogic is a provider of solutions for automating and supporting practices across the enterprise - from modeling of business processes and enterprise architectures to requirements driven development of advanced systems and software, the company said.
