Telelogic buys U.S.-based I-Logix

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based Telelogic has acquired the U.S.-based I-Logix, provider of modeling tools for the embedded market, in an all-cash deal worth $80 million. Enthused with the acquisition, company’s Managing Director, Sidharth Malik said that, I-Logix's product ideally complements Telelogic's offering in the modeling space as well as those that focus on embedded applications. The company hopes the combination would help address customers’ needs in developing advanced systems and software for both enterprise and projects. Commenting on this, I-Logix’s Chief Executive Officer said, “Together our combined solutions and resources will benefit all our customers. We chose to become a part of the Telelogic family because we believe in their vision to assemble the broadest array of ‘dream-team’ products and solutions for our combined market.”
