New Delhi: U.S. - based telecom company Telcordia today denied having links with Home Ministry official Ravi Inder Singh, who was arrested on Tuesday by the Delhi Police for allegedly passing sensitive information to unauthorized persons. "Telcordia categorically denies allegations being reported by sections of the press that Singh, a Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs, is on its payrolls. This is absolutely untrue," the company said in a statement here. Yesterday, the Delhi Police had secured permission from a Special Court to hold the senior IAS officer in custody for six days on charges that he passed on sensitive information to unauthorized persons. According to Public Prosecutor Rajeev Mohan, Singh had leaked information pertaining to a US-based telecom company, Telcordia, for illegal gratification.
