Mumbai: IT service company Tech Mahindra (TML) has signed a five-year deal worth $350 million (14 billion) with the UK based British Telecom (BT) to provide application maintenance and support services. These services will be delivered from TML's state-of-the-art Centres of Excellence (CoE) at facilities in India and a new facility being set up in Britain to monitor BT's core business processes. TML's Service Excellence and Improvement Group (SEIG), focused on application maintenance and business activity monitoring, will deliver business benefits to BT through process harmonisation, automation and standardisation of application services. Sanjay Kalra, President of TML, a subsidiary of Mahindra Group, said: "This deal showcases TML's strengths in delivering business critical services that have so far been hidden under business-as-usual application support."
