Tatas exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan

MUMBAI:IndiaÂ’s largest diversified conglomerate Tata is exploring investment opportunities in neighboring Pakistan, Group head Ratan Tata today said.
Ratan Tata said Pakistan would be an ideal destination for investments in automobiles, hotels and software as the similarities between the two neighbors would be beneficial for both the countries and the region.
"It is an opportunity that we have. We will be very happy to play a role in that area," Tata said adding "We are waiting for the two Governments to agree on a protocol which I am sure will happen in course of time."
Tata said the group was waiting for a concrete plan by both countries on trade and investment and added that the similarities between both countries and Bangladesh on the economic front would be beneficial for the region.
