Tata Communications net profit plummets 67 percent
32 crore ($6.6 million) as against 98 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Tata's stand-alone revenue also fell 3.2 percent to 843 crore for the quarter under review from 871 crore, the company said in a statement.
The company's operating profit was, however, up 10 percent to 218 crore from 199 crore.
Tata Communications announced a slew of new partnerships and new launches in the quarter. It partnered with Qatar Telecom (QTel) and RTComm in Russia to deliver global connectivity services.
The company also partnered with Starwood hotels to roll out its video-conferencing facility, the statement added.
